Moose Jaw Age-Friendly

Moose Jaw is a city in south-central SK. It is an industrial centre and important railway junction for the area’s agricultural produce.  CFB Moose Jaw is a NATO flight training school, and is home to the Snowbirds Aerobatic Flight Demonstration Squadron. A Snowbird jet and Mac the Moose are large roadside attractions of Moose Jaw on the #1 highway at the tourist info center.  The Moose Jaw Trolley Company (1912) offers tours of the city.  The Temple Garden’s Geothermal Mineral Spa, Tunnels of Moose Jaw, Casino Moose Jaw and the Western Development Museum are major sites of interest of this city.  Other popular attractions include the Saskatchewan Festival of Words, Crescent Park, Wakamow Park and building-sized murals in our historic downtown.  The city is also home to the Moose Jaw Warriors, Western Hockey League team.  Moose Jaw has a low crime rate and is a place where neighbours know and look out for one another.  The people of Moose Jaw represent the heart & soul of hard-working prairie people, with a can-do attitude that gets things done, making Moose Jaw a great place to live, work and raise a family.
